I like this book,because it was based on real facts.

The story begins when one day a German family move to a new house near a concentration camp. Ralph, the father, who was a strict commander of the nazy party , had just been assigned to a new position. His son called Bruno was 8 years old,He was bored so he decided to explore although his mother told him not to go away from the house. He met a little boy called Samuel, who wore a kind of striped pijamas; despite his aspect they became friends, they used to play together but always separated by a horrible gate. THEN THE STORY CONTINUES,THEY DIED. BUT I'M NOT GOING TO TELL YOU HOW AND WHY THEY DIED.

Well done Estella. I also think that this story is very moving and makes us think of the crimes in the concentration camps.
ResponderEliminarI think the idea of showing concentration camps seen from the eyes of a young child that has no idea of the real issue inside the camp is outstanding!
