Diario de un emigrante

I had read many books by Delibes years ago but I read this one after the author's recent death. I enjoyed reading it very much because it is very realistic and full of humour. I also liked it because Lorenzo, the main character reminds me of my father, who was also very fond of hunting. The language is very rich with lots of colloquial expressions which transport me to my childhood in a town of Castilla.
I recommend you to read it but have a dictionary at hand, I'm sure you'll need it!!

  1. One book I enjoy a lot was "The Catcher in the Rye". It´s a history about a teenager boy who one christmas fled from his school. He went to his city, New York and there he lived interesting things.
I recomend the book, although every body has already read. In the history is develop the process of change of the character, Holden Caufield, from a teenager into an adult. He lived difficult situations that makes posible that change.
I liked it because it´s developed in the 50´s and the history has funny things.
